Open Veins of Latin America (after Galeano)

because hundreds of thousands of Latin Americans were disappeared
because their disappearance / is the cause of my existence
because Galeano wrote Open Veins of Latin America to heal a nation
because a father left / and his daughter was born here

A performance-installation from dusk till dawn.

The work is viewed from several locations, at ground level and atop a four-story building, and is maintained throughout the night until sunrise.
